Hi, reader!
Today’s trivia: What 4 classic games came free with an installation of Microsoft Windows 98?
With that, welcome to the 119th newsletter! This one is all about Living the Dream.
An exchange.
The question got asked to me all the time at work: “How’s it going?”
My typical response: “Oh you know, living the dream!”
It wasn’t original.
Lots of people say it in the workplace when asked how they are doing.
“Living the dream!”
We all give a chuckle and move on with whatever business is at hand.
This exchange says it all.
I know it’s not my dream.
You know it’s not my dream.
We all know it’s not my dream.
And we certainly all know I’m not living it.
But the sad thing is we all chuckle.
We chuckle because we are all in the same boat.
Ha ha, look at us! All of us are not living our dream but saying we are even though no one actually believes it!
What strange behavior!
A thought (Dr. King style).
I have a dream.
A dream that one day we will live in a world where more people are actually living their dream.
Imagine a world where when you heard that someone was “living the dream” - that you knew it was 100% true!
Instantly, you’d want to know more!
You’re living your dream?! Amazing! Tell me all about it!
How did you do it?
What’s it like?
What advice do you have for me so I can live my dream?
What would living your real dream look like?
A quote.
“The first step to living your dream life is believing you can”

Answer: Hearts, FreeCell, Solitaire, Minesweeper
This is a great one. In some areas I am now "Living the Dream" and feel blessed. I still have work to do in other areas. You are inspiring me to continue to work on that!
